The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka made an appearance along with Shahid as well as Vir Das Shahid Kapoor, Vir Das and Meiyang Chang in the 2010 film "Badmash Company". The movie received mixed reviews.
